MISSION COMPLETE!!!

February 11th, 2012 Valentines Banquet & fundraiser
We had an excellent night of fine dining and entertainment for all.  We also raised about $375.00 for our mission trip this summer to Montana.  Darrell and Genie sang solos and we had skits and musical numbers by Khyla, Sami, Danielle, Lizzie & Genie.  Even Brother Jim got up & helped with a few patended dance moves. We will have the video available for years of enjoyment.

 January 8th, 2012
: Servant event

Tonight we went on a servant event to a local residential group home! We sang worship songs while the crew painted the local ladies fingernails and did up their hair. Also, we got to introduce the residents to the youth group dog, DC the golden retriever. I hope you get to join us next time!

December 30th, 2011: Overnight lock-in

We just wrapped up our overnight lock-in on Dec. 30 and it was awesome!  There were 14 youth and 4 adults. We drank enough pop to fill a stadium and ate enough pizza to fill us to bursting.  There were video games, contests, prizes, and some excellent worship opportunities. If you were unable to attend then you really missed a great night! Stay tuned for events to come...

December 14th, 2011: Caroling

The youth went on a caroling hay-ride through Whitewood with the rest of the church.  Singing helped to keep us warm on that 30 mile an hour wind excursion.  A fire for smores and hot chocolate followed to warm our toes!

October 29th, 2011: Fear Factor

On Oct 29th we had our fear factor night.  We had lots of gory, gross, and exciting things to do.  We had a height challenge, hoisting teammates up a pole at very nearly dangerous speeds, as well as several terrible food based challenges and a pitch-black maze packed with awful surprises.  The night ended with a Bible devotional on how to overcome fear through the Lord.  Everyone went home with a $10.00 gift card from Wal-mart for their efforts and bravery.
